With the approval of the instructor the group will choose a leader, investigate the leader’s life and leadership and come up with a write-up and presentation. This will not be a mere narrative but a biographical analysis of the leader’s life, including upbringing, achievements, etc. How was the future leader brought up and in which way did his/her parents or his/her education contribute to his leadership? What were his leadership traits, flaws, and strengths?

Many people who made great contributions had deep personal flaws and shortcomings and the students will have to find and present them. This will nurture the critical thinking skills ofthe students and prevent ‘heroic ‘ and uncritical presentations.
