What was the clash of the Hamiltonian Federalist vs. the Jeffersonian Anti-federalist through the early years of the nation’s history, and did this conflict continue into the years before the establishment of the Republican Party? Did we have 2 parties with different names and different views of government during this period, or were there multiple parties?
