TOPICS TO CHOOSE FROM

Literature review, Interview, Paper and Presentation: Asian Americans Living with a Chronic Illness. You must locate an Asian American living with a chronic illness. You will conduct a literature review of Pubmed and locate articles and statistics about this chronic illness (SEE ILEARN ON TOPICS). You will need to create 2 paragraphs summarizing and paraphrasing in your own words about this illness and its impact. In addition, you will interview someone living with either by phone or in person. A questionnaire and consent form is available on ILEARN. You will record the interview, create a transcript, and analyze the interview. Your paper will consist of an introduction, scientific literature review (4 paragraphs min), methods (how you went about interviewing), key findings from

your interview, and a conclusion (what you learned). Your final presentation you will be grouped with others of the same chronic illness and will share your key findings

OR

Literature Review, Survey Research, Paper and Presentation: Knowledge and Attitudes of Illness/Health Practice. You will conduct a literature review of Pubmed and locate articles and statistics about this illness/health practice (SEE ILEARN ON TOPICS). You will need to create 2 paragraphs summarizing and paraphrasing in your own words this illness and its impact. In addition, you conduct surveys using QUALTRICS with at least 20 questions and with 20 Asian Americans. Your paper will consist of an introduction, scientific literature review (4 paragraphs min), methods (how you went about interviewing), key findings from survey and a conclusion (what you learned). Your final presentation you will be grouped with others of the same chronic illness and will share your key findings.
