Educator Philosophy Interview

Individually

Interview an educator about his or her philosophy of education. Questions should be asked about the challenges facing education today, where he or she thinks education is headed in the future, and how personal life experiences has shaped his or her current philosophy of education.

Collectively

Discuss the findings from each team member’s interview, and determine common and differing trends, ideas, and philosophies. Discuss how these findings can be used to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.

Create a 10- to 12-minute presentation using a technology tool from the Technology Resource Library. The presentation should describe the team’s findings and reflection.

Prepare to share the team presentation with the class.
