Selection Processes

As the steering committee, you selected a system for your scenario. As part of an RFI and an RFP, you must also complete the vendor selection process.

Research vendors based on your system selection.

Write a 1,400- to 1,800-word paper in which you do the following:

Demonstrate how the HIT system and vendor selection processes should be used for your organization.
Identify threats and safeguards for electronic information that must be taken into account. Describe how these threats and safeguards affected your system choice.
Determine the effects of federal mandates and regulations on your potential and chosen health systems.

In your paper, include a chart comparing at least three vendor options.

Use at least three references.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
