Identify four terms related to your proposed dissertation topic that could be entered into a search engine to generate a list of potential scholarly sources. Using the terms you identified, search the GCU Library or Google Scholar for 12-15 sources (including three dissertations) that could support your proposed dissertation topic. You may need to experiment with search options and word combinations. Post the reference list generated by your search. What search strategy was most successful at yielding valid, academic sources?

Write a 1000-1500-word essay addressing each of the following points. Be sure to completely answer all the questions for each bullet point. There should be two main sections, one for each bullet below. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper.

Support your ideas with at least three (3) sources using citations in your essay. Make sure to cite using the APA writing style for the essay. The cover page and reference page in correct APA do not count towards the minimum word amount. Review the rubric criteria for this assignment.

Length: 1000-1500 words; answers must thoroughly address the prompts in a clear, concise manner.

Evaluation Criteria for Paper

(10%) Resources used as rationale for approaches and as sources of content

_____ 5. (20%) write paper in a scholarly manner
(4%) Format includes title page, body of paper, & reference page, with pages numbered

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.
