Terminology that is often used to describe the actions of a manager in the performance management cycle includes coaching, counseling, corrective action, progressive disciplinary plan, and termination. Define each of these terms, the circumstances under which they are utilized, and their intended purpose. You may also include a description of the terms and processes used by your organization.

Write a 1000-1500-word essay addressing each of the following points. Be sure to completely answer all the questions for each bullet point. There should be two main sections, one for each bullet below. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper.
