Description of Arts Intervention for Adolescents

One arts intervention strategy that I would like to use with adolescent clients is music therapy. Music therapy uses the creation, perception, or reproduction of music to elicit positive changes in the client (Malchiodi, 2020). Music therapy effects the physical, behavioral, social, emotional and/or emotional challenges that adolescents face. Many times, music therapists will integrate different musical experiences during sessions based on client goals (Clements-Cortés & May 2021). Music can assist in the healing of trauma, rehabilitation by promoting positive self-regulation. 

ESSAY GUIDELINES -:
