Connecting Art to Events

The purpose of this assignment is to connect historical events from the Enlightenment and Romantic Ages to the age’s art, music, architecture, philosophy, and literature.

Part 1:

Choose an historical event from the Enlightenment Age that interests you.

Write at least 300 words in response to the following:

Choose a piece of artwork that reflects your chosen event. Explain the connection.

Choose an historical event from the Romantic Age that interests you.

Write at least 300 words in response to the following:

Choose a piece of architecture or philosophy that reflects your chosen event. Explain the connection.
Choose a piece of literature that reflects your chosen event. Explain the connection.
Include the architecture or philosophy and literature chosen; add images and passages, as appropriate.
