1. Identify populations affected by the global health problem.  This is a global health problem; the United States can be included in the discussion but should not be your focus.
2. Discuss the history of the problem.
3. Examine factors that contribute to the health problem such as biological, lifestyle and social influences.
4. Propose a strategy to address the problem using ideas and evidence from the literature.
5. Reflect on the ethical and/or political consequences of addressing the problem in the way you have proposed.

This is an APA paper, it will require an APA title page, in-text citations, and a APA reference page.

  • Write in third person
  • Times New Roman 12 font
  • Double space with 1 inch margins on all sides
  • Indent the first line of each paragraph
  • Use APA formatting for citations and references (See APA Quick Start Guide)
  • Use a header for each section of the paper (headers should follow the individual areas in the grading rubric)
  • Include page numbers
